Really interesting idea, but have you had anyone question whether it is an invasion of privacy to post these pictures? How are you dealing with anonymising the houses that you are showing?
Hi Suzie. All of the pictures are screen-grabs from Google Maps, cropped to exclude any information that would identify specific locations. I also chose to not connect these images directly with sellers’ user names (or, in fact, to even record user names) so hopefully it’s not an invasion of privacy as not even I have any idea who these people are. Interestingly, only about two-thirds of listings include postcode information, it must be optional.
