I am a geographer and currently work as a research associate at the OpenSpace Research Centre at the Open University. My PhD looked at how remnants are incorporated in contemporary urban development initiatives in Rome. Recently, I have also been involved in exploring the urban practices of alternative spiritualities. Prior to moving to the UK, I worked for a decade in Aboriginal research and policy in the Government of Canada.
I am not sure what or where I’ll be doing this project, but I’m excited about its openness and potentialities. I am definitely more comfortable behind the camera, so perhaps this public engagement initiative is exactly what the doctor ordered…
